I did not render this model, I just soften and simplified to look less "poly", using the model of Hanus (2017) aviable in the 3d Asteroid Catalogue site.
The file's names explained: name_1_x_10_y.stl is 1 : x * 10y. So _1_6_10_7 is 1:600000000 or one in 60 million.
Pallas is about the same size of Vesta, but a 30% less massive. It has a very inclined (84º) orbit which makes difficult to explore. It is near resonant with Ceres, both takes the same time around the Sun, but this resonance is though to be casual, because of the relative low mass of the objects. Very little is known about the shape or the surface of Pallas, but it is known that it deppart from a sphere or a ellipsoid.
