Don't display this sculpture without knowing you're gonna get some blowback... I got a "strongly" worded letter (yes, in post, at my home mailbox!) and a few e-mails about how I'll go to hell (and how they're gonna help), one was a rant on freedom isn't free (although, they didn't mention free expression), and one that simply asked if I was a "Fing fagot"
So if you do make this, just know that might happen.
Hatchback I think... PLA
the three versions are:
Jesus_101 (all one piece, but small and requires a load of supports)
A two piece version, front and back. Its (not much) larger and still needs supports for the hands, but prints well.
Files: Jesusface1, & JDface2
(print both without "solid bottom" having the infill start against the build plate from layer one, this reduces the seam line, and then simply adhere the back to the front)
For the largest version:
-see post printing for the 7 part version, I got mine to be 400mm tall by 380mm but that all depends on the printer's size.
Regarding the Multi-piece (7 part version)
Print out everything except the Jesus_101, Jesusface1, & JDface2.
On assembly, I found that the superglue & Baking soda was a great way to hide the seams if you print the multi-piece version (youtube.com/watch?v=TTrVIXsLmmI).
Use Touching Build-plate supports wherever possible, and be ready to do some creative slicing with the hands.
