Thing is a very tight fit in the battery bay on the taranis. Which means there is zero room for a charge lead, balance lead and a power lead for the taranis. You could probably get away with just having a TX power lead and charging through it but you won't have balance capability. I just used 2 18650s and used the other bay for all my wiring with very short leads. Unfortunately, the batteries don't sit low enough. You can get the cover closed but it's not an easy task. Also, be sure to keep your solder very minimal or else you will have to remove material to get the batteries in. If you have the longer protected cells you may have battery fitment issues. All in all though it looks very clean and the extra battery life is amazing. 2100mah on my old 2s liFe pack vs 5000mah on 2x 18650s!
