I love it. Simple. You can use it as a Savonius VAWT too.
The thing that caught my eye. Set up in the horizontal axis, the wind will make this spin.
Next time you do the dished, move a spoon side to side in the water, you'll notice the liquid move from the convex to the concave side, and you should feel the spoon having some persuasion(lift) toward the convex side.

If you were to take the spoons and rotate them 90 degrees on the radial axis, so that they lay flat. With the concave side facing the wind, the turbine should spin faster than the wind, however, it will need a start spin. This is the same principal as the Darius turbine, but in HAWT configuration. Giving the spoons a slight angle might persuade self-starting.
