Can't seem to 'work it out; how you attach cap so top spins to use storage space, might be clearer when I print it!!
did you ever get around to making instructions up.

Hi, Each step has two lugs on the top & off-set holes on the bottom. The top has the same holes in the underside as the steps. So when you pull the top up, which is held down by the spring, you can twist the top a half turn (180 degrees) and it slots back down over the lugs in the top step. Thus now the hole is lined up with the alternate spiral of stairs that lead into the closed off void at the bottom.

Hope that helps.

What size bottle did you use?

Hi, I used a standard 2 litre bottle. It actually has too big a diameter and you can see in the picture, if you zoom in a bit, the overlap where I cut it vertically over the door. The version I re-mixed this from also had this overlap.

At some point I'm going to build a new version that fits a standard 2 litre bottle diameter, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that... :-)

Hi
Nice mod. I look forward to seeing the final design.

Hi, Thanks. I've added the pictures of my completed build and a list of minerals that are needed.
Already have another design in my head for easier dice storage access :-)

Still need to doc how to put it together though (I'm not very good at that bit...)

Hi Antfurn
Your new photos explain it all quite clearly. I hadn't realised from the initial rendered image that you had set it up so you twist the top around direct the dice to storage or to roll. That's a cunning design!
