Will the ships from the Seafarers expansion fit in each players box? It looks like they might be a smidge to small for holding them.

I haven't bought seafarers yet...if you have calipers and can send me their dimensions I can check, and maybe alter the box a touch to make them fit if they don't.

I was basing it off these pictures. laying flat, they should fit, as they don't appear any thicker than the other pieces

nice, does it print fine without supports? that's why I had initially chosen the arch.

Great design. I have Catan, Seafarers, and Cities and Knights along with the 5/6 player extensions for each and was working on something similar but it had not progressed to being as elegant. I'm in the process of printing all of the pieces and everything is working nicely so far, The only issue I have run into is with the player tray as it does not quite have enough of a tolerance in it to be able to slide into the build costs card into it. I'm currently working on tweaking it on my own to fix that issue, I am also looking to divide up the compartment to organize the pieces a bit more. If you could provide a .step file or something similar it would be greatly appreciated.

I just saw this, I built it in TinkerCad, I'll see if I can export something for you

No need to worry there. Since the geometry wasn't too complicated I was able to replicate it fairly quickly off the stl file, it gives the cost card a little bit more wiggle room so you don't have to tear it up while forcing it in.

The next thing I will probably do is partition it off to have dedicated spots for each of the pieces.

I'd love to see what you come up with, I could link to your improved player boxes from my description (or add it to this project and give you credit for them :) )

This looks great! An excellent example of functional printing to solve a real problem: all those Catan boxes!
Currently printing everything. I might have to get more expansions just to fill up the box.

How did it work for you? Anything I should adjust/change?
