Some simple large calipers I made to measure myself for sizing my cosplay items appropriately. I used a 16mm bolt and a wing nut with a washer to secure to two parts. If you scale the parts down you will have to find different hardware.
I didnt like how other calipers on here were shaped as I have a very large head and so wanted to have a traditionally curved design to use instead. They are roughly 250mm long.
Anything. I used 0.4 but if you have a 0.4 nozzle id recommend using 0.3 instead
100% (id actually say just go ahead and say something like 6 top layers and 10% infil with 3 walls tho. This would work perfectly as the only part that needs infil would be around the bolt.)
This is a really simple and easy part to print. And PLA is perfect for it.
Had a friend make me a SVG based on the silhouette of a real pair. Then used Tinkercad to turn that into a 3D model and added the parts for the hardware.
