I bought my wife a Yamaha P-71 electric piano. She was very excited about it, but then asked me to make something that would hold her laptop on the piano. So I measured the distances for the slot for setting up the sheet music rack (not sure what its called) and the top of the piano around it, and I modeled up this bracket. I printed two of them. Figured it'd be a useful thing for musicians who can perhaps modify it to their existing piano or keyboard.
Although I could have made a single elevation. I decided to create a steeper incline, so there is more weight falling to the front of the laptop. My apologies for a poor explanation. I'm not an engineer, and I only started 3d printing just last week. haha...
One other note... There is a little tooth, that is supposed to catch a notch on the top of the piano that is in front of the sheet music holder slot. Didn't ultimately prove necessary and so in the next iteration of this, I will remove it.
I'd err on the side of a bit more infill so that the object is strong and then you have less risk of it falling or breaking and the laptop getting damaged.
