Print Thing TagSummary
This heart and broken heart earring designs are the first set in a small collection of crisscross layered earrings that I made using a fairly simple technique. I also have a dimaond, oval, and star design.
For the design to work, you need to change colors 4 times. It can be tedious, but the results are pretty nice if I do say so myself.
The heart earrings are mirror images of each other while each side of the broken heart is designed to match up perfectly to the other.
Details can be found in the Print Settings.
The full tutorial on how I created these designs can be found here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Crisscross-Layered-Earrings/
I am selling finished earrings in my Etsy store as well: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MasterofNoneBoutique

Notes:
Your design should be 10 layers thick. If not, you may need to alter it a bit to make it 10 layers.
1 Outline
35% outline overlap
First layer is 150% height - this is default for me.
You can change all of this up, just make sure you don't have holes in your design.
Color changes, depending on the slicer you use, this will be done in different ways. If you use Simplify3D you can add in this script:
{REPLACE "; layer 3, Z =" "M600\n; Color Change, Z ="}
{REPLACE "; layer 5, Z =" "M600\n; Color Change, Z ="}
{REPLACE "; layer 7, Z =" "M600\n; Color Change, Z ="}
{REPLACE "; layer 9, Z =" "M600\n; Color Change, Z ="}
