Can you share your design file or possibly make some modifications to fit the plug through the mounting plate and hollow out the bottom to use for cable storage?

Thanks for the file - your design has a much better presence than the original and it looks like it's size would make it a good candidate for sand filling.

I wasn’t very clear with the instructions on how get the light inside. The way I got it to work was by unscrewing the light so that it’s broken down into a top and bottom piece. Then I cut the two power wires separating them completely. I then took the top of the light and cut around the piece until it fit inside the glass jar. I spliced extra wire onto the power wires I cut and ran them down to the bottom through the smaller hole and then spliced them onto the power wires on the bottom piece. The bottom piece from the light should fit right inside the base of the model and the power cord has an opening for it to fit through. There is also an opening for the on/off switch. I have added some more pictures to hopefully clarify this a little better. I could post the model in other formats. I made it in MicroStation which is a CAD software that may not be compatible with what everyone else is using.

This is basically how I did it as well. I did not however use the top piece of the light, I just kept the LED plate and bottom
