Hi, PolishLocks, I just printed the models but unfortunately there is not enough play between the parts.

Hello this small padlock is rather for professional 3D printers. Try the other one this bigger one and safe box as well are with much more tolerances and should work.

What exactly do not fit after printout? I have printed this mechanism on High End printer but maybe I need to redesign it for your printer tolerances. What tolerances you need?

In fact, all parts require a slightly higher clearance.
It is difficult to say what the good tolerance would be, but according to my tests, a 0.4mm increase in clearance seems to be a minimum.

Edit: to illustrate, i need to reduce pieces about 4% (on 2 axis).
Wheel 1 -> 98%
Wheel 2 -> 94%
Wheel 3 -> 90%
Wheel 4 -> 86%

Ok, I changed the Gear now uploaded Gear 2 with much more play, please check it if it will be better. What printer are you using?

I've just printed and tested the new "Gear" on the original "open_close", it's tight but it fit now, it's perfect for this pieces.

I think for pieces like Knob/Wheels, it will need a bit more, i suggest you to increase the internal diameter of knobs. I can test it for you.
I have an Ender 3.

OK I see, now please print the Actuator part working together with new Gear and lets see them together if it will work?
I need to understand the tolerances for your printer, we will do it step by step and I will prepare each part for you to be perfect.

I print a second actuator, and it is tight but OK.

OK, now print this internal gear and show how the parts works together: Open Close put inside this gear and Actuator check the movement between the teeth up and down rotating open close.

It should looks like my pictures. Pay attention to this groove visible on OpenClose after mounting the internal gear. It must be visible not covered by wheel .
