Buying a new printer and printing these would still probably be cheaper than new frames these days

What would the height of the lenses used be?

I want to print frames also. I don't understand what holds the glass in. Is there a metal wire going around the rim of the lens? What holds the wire in place? Or is it just the plastic only that holds the glass in place? And if only the glass - how did you "move the plastic out of the way and then move it back to hold the glass in place"?

If there is a metal wire that holds the glass in, then could you explain that in more detail please?

there are holes in the frame where you can loop fishing wire trough. You can lock the fishing wire in place by some super glue.

It would be great if you could make your model competable with "Custimizer". Think about it, write down your lens dimensions, puff... ready to print frames...

That would be nice. Maybe when I have some time I will look into it.

Wonderful. By far the best frame I've found on thingiverse so far. Would you consider uploading the editable file?

I will upload a few file formats to edit.

You can't edit STLs?
