My daughter asked for a hideout for her Guinea Pig. We looked at various designs but nothing really stood out. I started to play around in Fusion 360 to make a castle spire. Few lofts, revolves, and circular patterns, I ended up with a design that's reminiscent of a vegetable protruding from the ground. With the color of filaments selected, the Carrot Castle was born.
You could easily swap out some colors to make a Radish, Pineapple (Spongebob would be proud), Parsnip, Beet, etc... Show me your vegetable castle for your little critter!!
Adjust the scale for the rodent of choice! (i.e. 60% for hamster).
Atomic Filament PLA
Orange & Translucent Green
I used Atomic Filament Translucent Green and some old SeeMeCNC Orange Crush.
I printed with support and really didn't need it. You might be lucky as well and not require support. I tried to design it without the need but wanted to be sure since it was a large and long print.
