Did you have any special settings for thin profiles? I just printed everything and the ring gear teeth seem too short and the planetary set doesn't reach them at all when fully assembled.

No, I used nothing special for the ring, printed it with the same settings as the rest of the parts.

If this would help, here are my relevant settings in S3D:
Nozzle: 0.4
Extrusion width: 0.48
Extrusion multiplier: 1.0
No scaling or "horizontal size compensation" or anything else that could alter dimensions.

I used off-brand PLA with nozzle temp of 205 deg.

This is an awesome design, have you considered entering it in the Hackaday 3D printed gears/pulley contest?

Thanks! Now I am, didn't know about the contest before.

Hi, nice thing.
How did you print the gears without support? There is a horizontal surface with the hole for the screw - see picture.

Hi, I just printed them like that. There were some strings due to the overhang, but only a tiny amount and they were easy to remove.

you really should add a plastic cover over the gears. that would protect them from things getting stuck in them yet let them be seen.

Agreed, this would be a good addition.

I've added a protective cover as a remix. Great design, I'm going to print one when I receive my PETG filament. Thanks :)

Nice! Thanks, man!
