Am I supposed to be able to take the SD card in and out with the case on when using the 8020 mount?

Unfortunately the 8020 mount covers the SD Card relief. The mount is in the same place.

It is actually not a big deal. I discovered I can still remove the card if I use tweezers and the mount doesn't prevent me from putting it back in. Thanks, I love the case!

Thank you for designing / modifying this great looking case. What a torture test the honeycomb is for printer setup! It pointed out how far my bed levelling was out. Once levelled I printed it using 0.2 @ 30mm/s for first layer up to 60mm/s.

Once you are done with your 3B case. Try a RPI 4B. And here's the matching case for it. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3793664.

I really liked this project, congratulations man.
I think it would be very useful to have a 40mm fan mount option for a project or overclock that might need more cooling.

I have a couple of NB 40mm fans, so I totally plan to add that configuration. I just need to find time to do it.

Respect for uploading this to a VCS and taking time to document it there. much appreciated. It would be nice to have a version to drive a 40mm fan, as they are quite cheap/widespread nowadays. thanks!

Hey, would it be possible to mount this onto the Ender 3? Also.. is it possible to have a cutout for the GPIO pins?

You might be able to to use the 8020 mount, however I don't have an Ender 3 so I can't say for sure.

There are cutouts for the gpio pins. Use snips to cut the breakout prices. You can open half or all gpio pins.

Haven't printed this yet but was looking for a case for my new B+ to use with "OpenMediaVault" NAS type device. All drives will be powered USB but wanted to keep the Pi a bit protected. Thanks.

Very nice looking 2 tone case.

A quick tip, I couldn't get the honeycomb pattern to print face down as a first layer on my Prusa MK3 with PETG but it worked perfectly printing on a 2 layer raft.

The honeycomb pattern is a torture test for bed adhesion. A raft is a great way to do this. I printed mine in PLA and I set the bed to 35c and used purple glue in a cross hatch pattern. I also set the layer one speed to 50%, this gives the layer time to stick. I also print on glass.

m3 screws should fit this as well right? I have those on hand ;)

The hole size for a M3 is 2.5 MM. The holes are 2.7 MM and 2.8 MM. So I think M3 screws should work fine.
