Do you mean the threads that hold the filament holder or the one that attaches to the printer?

As for the cable chain, it might depend on the type of chain you have. Mine is pressed against the Z motor.

I do not know why you are having trouble with that part. When I printed it with my Ender 3 it worked without issues.

I also can't slide in the cable chain in anymore because the mount.. how do I get it fit like it does on the photos?

I just finished printing mine but I notice that the threads did not print out correctly.. how do I fix it?

Hey, could you show a picture with the filament on the mount? I just want to see how the filament gets injected while in this orientation
