What stepper motor is everyone using for this? Thinking about trying this out. TIA

Comments deleted.

Has anyone used this mount with an EZABL sensor?

Can you tell me please what size are the screws to attach the hotend to the carriage? The stock ones are too small.

Something shorter than M330, but longer than M320 lol My guess would be M325. I used M330 with two M3 nuts, each nut is 2.2mm thick.

Sorry that I haven't replied to any of the comments here. I haven't been using my printer for the past few months.

Did you end up making a 5015 fan duct that shows more of the nozzle? I tried remixing and swap the position of the two fans, but then I realize the airflow would suffer :/

Has anyone printed it in PLA+? Any issues?

Thank you for the nice work. Could you please share your source file? .step or similar?
I would like to do some modifications.

Thank you in advance

So i bought a BMG clone printed out your moded hot end and it works great the only issue i have is when i print with the fan at 100% for flex filaments the fan blows on to the heater block and cools it off and i get a thermal runaway warning and printer shuts off(turning fan to 75 solves prob).
other then that good job on the mod. Im also little worried about heater block melting the bracket, been print none stop with in for 24 hours and all good .

nice work! How I Hold the hotend to this piece? I don't understand! thanks

The 5015 Fan looks really high quality? Two questions:

  1. Is it loud?
  2. Where did you get it from?

Does anyone have the fan part with the stock fan?

Looking for this aswell

Great design. Certainly using it for my purposes.
The part cooling duct is a bit to tight and comes to close to the block. Would suggest an adjustment to pull it back some and perhaps intergrate the current at this time duct used by the Prusa MK3s

how did you upgrade the cr-10 to linear rails????

Hello, can you share the fusion 360 source file or update it so I can use the CR-10S Pro stock ABL? Thank you.

How does the bondtech attach ? Does it only connect via the groov (see attached picture)
Does the bmg not spind around ?

That is correct!

And these 3 M3 screws secure it:

Nice work! Will the mount work with cr10 S4?

Hi Etchensketch.

Nice work.

I made it, but stock heater size (included silicon thermal insulation) is too big for 5015_fan.stl
Please modify 5015_fan.stl. Thank you

you can use an E3D V6 Heat Block with the micro Swiss/Creality heat sink and throat without needing to modify the models.

I haven't had any time to create a modified version of the 5015 Fan. I am also not using this Hotend setup anymore as I missed being able to see my prints while printing. I basically created this for those looking to mount their Bondtech BMG as a direct drive setup using the stock or MicroSwiss hotends.
