Curious how you all are printing these BASES with out much Missing from the Top Layers? Decided to Try and Tweak the Line Direction and have a Print set up for a (90) Integer Line correction so the Material actually sticks for me. Maybe some one else has the regular solution but figured I'd try this route. Here are a few pictures of the "Default" line direction that Creality Ender 3 has in its Machine Settings, and a Proposed solution for the Gaps Ive been seeing. Had to Acknowledge the Line Direction in the Settings View Tool since its Hidden naturally. Will post up the printed Examples Once Ive trailed it.

Hey, love your tiles! is there any chance you can share the 3d model for the low walls? trying to create different floor patterns in order to create a heroquest board, but trying to remix an stl file is a nightmare!!! will send the end result to you for you to share here :)

also going to be designing higher walls that clip over the low walls :)

Hey, just wanted to say I love your tiles so far, just wondering if you had an update of the different types of wall you mentioned you where going to release, specifically the Curved wall and angled wall.

Sorry for the delay! I've been prepping a cosplay for a comic convention and this all sat on a backburner. Thanks for making sure it wasn't burning! I've uploaded a bunch of tiles today with more to come. I haven't test printed them all yet, and would love to continue my efforts to reduce the file size, but hey, at least they're out in the world now :)

i know you previously mentioned you are uploading more files soon. just wanted to say I really enjoy your designs so far and its been a huge hit with my player group. are you by chance making files with higher walls or variants such as doors?

Hey I7xdeadz! Thank you! It really means a lot to hear that! If you get the chance I'd love to see pictures of your tiles! I don't have plans currently for higher wall tiles, but I could work on that in the future. As for the doors, the idea is to use doors that clip over the short walls! I currently use doors from True Tiles (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1598221) with my tile set, but want to design my own doors as well. If you print Curufin's doors, keep in mind that you'll have to scale them up ever so slightly in order for them to fit over my (slightly thicker) walls.

Right now I am working on the release of 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 2x3, 2x4, 3x3, and 3x4 field tiles. I will be releasing single wall, curved wall, angled wall, corner, corridor, and waterway tiles as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay on it! It's a lot of files and I'm hoping to release them in batches.

That’s great! I look forward to your future projects. I will post or send photos of my tiles after I print more or paint them since right now they are blue haha. Would you be looking into a 4x4 in the future as well.

Thanks! That sounds great, I am looking forward to it.

I have thought about making a 4x4, but realized it would be just as easily made/fashioned from four 2x2 tiles, and would allow it to be taken apart and re-purposed as need be. I was also having trouble getting the 4x4 file to texturize properly. If I can get it to work I will post it anyways!

You’ve mentioned true tiles... I like the texture and walls of your design better personally but are they the same height for the floor sections so I could use both as needed for other shapes? Or did you perhaps model yours from scratch and don’t know if they would be the same height once glued to your connecting bases

They should be very close if not the same in floor height. Hero's Hoard carries a large range of True Tiles, which I highly recommend. They should be completely compatible with my tiles- the only caveat is that not all of their designs have been converted to a two part file. That is to say, some of their files are not meant to be glued on top of a OPENLock base, like mine are. I think any of their files which say they are OPENLock compatible will work fine!

I like this, do you have plans for making rectangles and squares that are for example 1 by 1 and 2 by 1?
For some reason this realy commonly used setup is often "forgotten"

Yep! I already have the files mostly finished and will be releasing them ASAP. I can basically create any tile size, so if, once posted, you do not see one you were looking for, just let me know! One of my frustrations with most systems was how many uncommon shapes were simply omitted. I've always felt that the weird shapes let you build more unique and interesting dungeons.

That and the difficulty of recreating most prereleased dungeons when you don't have the ability to make a square hallway.

Yep! Originally I began creating this set because I wanted to replicate the Sunless Citadel and couldn't, especially not with 1.25" tile systems. That's why I created this donut/pit:
