What magnets did you use and where to get them. Thank you.

Included STL file has sockets for 10x5x1.2 mm neodyme magnets (they are slightly bigger and therefore stronger than those in original cover), but you can customize magnet size in included openscad source. I got mine from specialized eshop here in czech republic, but they do not send abroad afaik. It shouldn't be problem to find some online magnet shop though.

If you can't get this size of magnets and have trouble generating STL for different size (customizer seems broken for this design), let me know what magnet dimensions do you have, I will generate STL for you.

I just want to know how the heck dow you get this radiating effect on the surface?

It's combination of slic3r "octagram spiral" top/bottom fill pattern and glittering effect of Fillamentum vertigo grey filament.
