Hello,
Would it be possible for you to cut the Rocky Base into 2 parts so it will fit on Anycubic Photon build plate. Along with the tower top A and B.

If you need smaller sizes you can always slice yourself using an easy/free program like Meshmixer or Tinkercad. I don't plan on doing addition work on this piece at this time but learning to slice yourself is a good skill to have if you own a 3d printer!

Hi,

great model. just curious about peoples print settings for the level of detail? was thinking about doing .24 layers but don't want to loose too much of the detail

Using Cura to slice and the bottom of the First_Floor.stl looks to have little bumps on the bottom. Which won't allow for a full first layer and only prints the two bumps first leading to a failed print.

EDIT

The Globe has a jagged first layer and base aswell.

Did you just download these? I fixed the globe file last week, should be flat

Weird - I always do a plane cut to verify flatness on the bottom of all models, I musth have missed this one. Just updated the file, thanks for the heads up

The first floor still has two bumps at the bottom.

I think thingivere and/or your web browser was caching because the filename was the same - just deleted the old one and renamed new one to "1st floor"

Thanks man!

Evan, thanks for the cool freebie! And, I hate to be greedy, but you know we expect a ruined/damaged version of this as well... ;-) Happy Friday!

I plan to do future iterations/releases for this via OpenForge for sure

The crystal topper looks to be useful as a standalone set piece or macguffin/objective for the wargaming crowd. And, the rocky base looks to be useful for other things as well - like as a dais for an altar, statue, portal, etc.

for sure - why make one thing when you can make five things!?
