how did you model her. it's a stunning model, as are all your models. very impressive.. do you have a youtube channel where you show your workflow?

I didn't really model her, I downloaded a game model and then edited it to make it printable: https://www.deviantart.com/xelandis/art/Black-Widow-Marvel-Heroes-XNALara-683904937

I've been meaning to make a youtube video showing my workflow, but for now you can read a bit more in the "How I Designed This" section of my Unused Models collection: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3231395

The main trick is to get a model that includes normal or bump maps, then you can apply those as displacement maps in Blender and freeze them into the STL file. Here are some screenshots to show what I mean.

I'm not fluent on meshmiser or bender., I can create complex things in 123d design but I can't do any scuplting of advanced design..

just quickly, I tried opening the .obj file in simplify3d, and it's showing me a model made of segments; there are gaps in various place in the model. this is most likely why you have a "fixed" stl, but the .obj was so much smaller, I wanted to see that first. do you have a clean, one piece .obj? or a lower poly stl around?

fixing models like that is also something I can do yet.

Yeah I don't use any mesh repair tools on the textured models because it seems to screw up the textures.
I include the OBJ version because I know some people will just download the files to look at them and I figure they should have something to look at. ;-)

If you're on windows you can open the OBJ in the Microsoft 3d Builder app and it'll pop up an option to repair it. Once that's done save it out and you should get a printable file.

I won't have access to my PC over the weekend so if you're still having trouble on Monday I'll upload a smaller STL.

Hey mate, I've uploaded a lower-poly STL file that should work for you. Take a look and let me know if you print it!
