Hi, are you using MOSFET? I saw some people are using it in their machine, is there any difference with or without it?

Hi! What is MOSFET? I do not understand you...

Hi, it’s logic level transistor, use to switch the laser on and off.

I use laser module with TTL line. MOSFET are set on the laser-module board...

I see. So most of the laser board comes with the MOSFET already? Can I use higher power laser like 15w in this machine? Shouldn’t be any problem right?

You should compare laser module footprint only! If your laser module has TTL control line... And should control power module

Hi. I am printing the parts, one thing I noticed where does the x and y end stops fit.

Also in the files, there is an empty pdf file - can you fix this?

thanks for your design ! you Rock !!

Hi! PDF is not empty... You should use Adobe standart security procedure...

Hi, I have rebuilt your laser and I am very satisfied. Thank you very much for your work. but I have a question. do you think it is possible to integrate a z-axis on the laser head? for example: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3123030

Hi! I disign version with movement on Z axis. I'll public this version

Great, i print also this version for multiple tools... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2864178

Eleksmaker laser Z-axis with Quick release plate - In progress

Very nice project, I started to print elements and collect residuals of spangles, can you tell something more about wi fi connectivity, how to connect a module?

Hello! Thank you. You should read instruction here:

Hello, I'm just printing the first parts and considering if it makes sense to take 2 motors and drivers for the y-axis. What are your experiences ?

Hello! I use only one stepper for Y axis... It's a little cheaper. But some people from my store are asking for a plastic part for the second stepper.

wHY do you use M6 in 2040 profile ends.? There is m5 tread.S07 bolt

Hi! See the picture in attachment please. Diametr of through holes is 5mm. So I have to use M6 screws!!!

здравствуйте. хотел спросить когда будут статьи о которых вы говорили?

День добрый! Работаю над статьями... По готовности выложу.

I've started to print everything and I will let you know thanks for the details!

hey I'm trying to see where to connect the laser on the shield actually, would you mind sharing a picture of your setup? :)

It's the photo num12... TTL line of laser was connected to CNC Shield v3 - green and white wires. Power of laser was connected to the power supply... CNC shield does not have powerfull lines to connection laser power.

I have two questions, what kind of power supply do you use? In the pictures in the printed part i think is a 5A 12V? But then there is another 30A power supply in the pictures? Do you use one power supply to power the motors and Laser Module?

I use 12v 40W power supply for laser module and steppers. In the 3d pdf you can see model of power supply! It is S-40-12. I tested input AC line in PEAK mode with 300W 12A power supply. On the one of publication pictures you can see peak current for working cycle. It is only 0.14A.
