Would you please remove the image that you are using to represent your file? The helmet pic you used is one that I scratch built a bit ago and molded and cast. It is clearly Not what your file comes out as and is misleading. Thank you

Sure no problem, cheers Jace

Am I allowed to redistribute / sell this with permission and credit?

This model acually belongs to Bethesda Softworks, Obsidian Entertainment and as for a personal project I think there is some leyway.

But just about everything here on Thingyverse will likely have a copyright license. As for personal use I see no problem!

That is why there is a "No distributtion for comercial liscence" on all these models for good reason ; )

But you could talk to the actual owners with regards to royalty payments perhaps if you were to pursue a monetry redistribution of a copyrighted model. But I would think that too would be a long and costly exercise, likely ending in a big fat no!

Ultimately if you do go ahead illegally, you could face huge fines or imprisonment due to copyright!

Good luck, regards Jace

Interesting. I've seen people make and sell the helmet before. Is this because it is specifically Bethesda who designed this particular file?

They maybe already paying the licence holders or royalty fees? But I know patreon and Ezty have been in the Media quite a bit because of the copyright distribution problems and lots of sellable items that used to be on these sites quite often get pulled regularly. I too have had a number of files removed from Thingyverse due to copy right alligations. All I'm saying is I personally dont redistribute for monetry gains, due to possible copy right infringement and I could be fined for suggesting you that you can go for it!
So its easier to say no! ; ) So I guess it is up to your moral compass as to what direction you take! Cheers Jace

Can you post this with the parts separated? It looks great!

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3077839 I made a small video over at the link attached to help some one else with the idea on how to split seperate your files prior to printing ; ) Cheers Jace
