For anyone who doesn't know, this design is for the left side or drivers side. so in order to make it work for the other side all you have to do is mirror it in your Cura software, or what ever stl software you use for printing. hope that helps!!

Was there a specific RC truck you modelled these for?

Originally yes, they were designed for a 1/10 scale Exceed RC Invinitive truck. But, the beauty of this design is they will work on any truck that runs a similar steering/axle hub.

You are missing the hole in the hub for the pin that attaches the hub to the caster block. Other wise you only have one point of contact and it will not hold the skis stable when turning. Here is a picture of a similar hub with an exploded view of the hub and caster block

The hole that you are referring to was intentionally left out of the design. Because this part is designed to be 3D printed with the flat end of the hub on the print bed, the mounting hole were ommitted. The printer I have does not do well with small holes layed on a horizontal plane. (Personally I have not found a printer that can handle a hole like that well) When I printed the skis, I simply used a cordless drill with a small drill bit to add the holes.

The tronxy x3s can print very nice horizontal holes that like a paper clip can fit into. so pretty small. and i am printing your design out for my Redcat Racing nitro shockwave buggy. ill see how it works and give you some feedback.
