How many steps are needed to be printed?

Hi Vandread83
That depends on how tall you want to make it. My own one which used most of the straight portion of a fairly standard shaped 1.5L soft-drink bottle required me to print 20 steps. So I would suggest 20 steps would be the typical number required.
Obviously you could make it taller or shorter depending on what you have available. If it is any help, the rotation for each step is 15degrees and so to do one full turn will take 24 steps.

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense.

Thanks for the shout out. Much appreciated.

Having made your original, I can attest to the "fun" of finding a 4mm wooden dowel in a craft store. I think my options were .34mm and .47mm or something like that. I went with the smaller one and filled the empty space with resin. The tower is not moving, but this would have been a lot faster. If I make another as a gift, I'll definitely give this one a whirl.

Hi Domino6713
My pleasure.
The overall size of this design hasn't changed from the original so your courtyard will work nicely with this too. Thanks for getting in touch.
