I like this design overall, but I'm having trouble getting the flapper supports pressed where they need to go. I wanted to see if you'd consider a revision in "side 1" and "side 2" - hopefully I can describe it well enough. Basically can you add a sort of channel midway in the flap area where the flap can tab in and then slide down where it needs to go? You could eliminate the supports.

I've attached an attempt to sketch it.

I think I understand the general idea of what you're asking for. The reason that support exists was because I wanted a way to make the wall flat when it was placed in the box, but wasn't too sure on how to print the flapper in place while still allowing it to be move-able. I'll look into it over the next couple of days and let you know if I make a revision.

I appreciate your reply. The idea (theoretically) would still let the sides sit flat as they do currently. I was actually going to try to change the sides myself but I mostly only use Tinkercad, and for some reason they didn't import to it correctly.

For the meantime I've done a variation on the flapper support where I made it very slightly smaller and added a sort of a flat pad around it. It goes against the "sitting flat" thing slightly, but really only slightly (the pad is 1mm thick I think). There's enough room in the box (formed by two of the small box parts) that it still closes okay.

What's the flapper support for?

I've never modeled anything with hinges printed into it, so to get around it I made the parts separate. So the flapper support is just pressed fit piece to keep the flap in the tower wall.If you look at one of the pictures with all the parts laid out on the table, the bottom right shows the flapper supports a different color to give you an idea of what they do.

love this design. looking forward to printing it this week. just looking to clarify.wasnt quite sure on the description. for the p3 and p4 walls. is it one of each , or 2 of a chosen one based on preference?

You need two of the support walls. The p3 and p4 just stand for the tolerances of the gaps in the support walls that the other sides slide into. They stand for 0.3mm and 0.4mm respectively.
