UPDATE 3/19/2019 - Currently redesigning the mount points as per a user's suggestion. I would recommend waiting until I have completed this next milestone.
UPDATE 1/19/2019 - COMPLETELY REDESIGNED: Fixed the tight tolerances on the mounting plate for ENDER 3. Made it more stable, added the front plate and details to match the mod set by Sedor Sosnin: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3183669
This mod has come a long way over the last two months and at some point it will no longer be a remix.
Removed the original .STL as there were issues with the design, it was very rough and this feels more refined. It is also more stable as it sits in its entirety on the gantry mount and has a second mount point.
-Tested at 60% Infill
-Supports at 10% density with .2 gap
-Do not set the support density too high! You have been warned.
-Check the pics for print orientation.
A NOTE on the Bullseye cooler, note that I trimmed the ear sitting by the left hand screw that attaches this part to the carrier gantry (and holds the roller wheel) to allow more space between this mod and the cooler mount. Now it sits perfectly on the carrier plate. Easy fix, check the pics!!!
NOTE: You will still have to run a small portion of Bowden tube between the Pneumatic couplings to connect the hotend to the Extruder. You will thread the screws from your gantry wheels through the slots and tighten them in place. This mount is tested and built around the Petsfang Bullseye found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759439 - All other parts are stock.
NOTE 2: You may have to retune your profiles because you've just lost about 10 inches of Bowden tube, will it really affect it? I can say that I've recalibrated my e-steps.
Does the mod make a difference on your prints? Maybe, maybe not, but it's a fun mod.
