1st at all I lost the source of the case for the camera I apologize for that.
This time screws cannot be avoided please refer to the original model for screw sizes.
This was made as always thinking about make it simple as possible. The PI3 case only need to be inserted in the printer nothing else is necessary there.
This PI3 kits that come with a camera have a really small ribbon cable so I didnt want to order and wait for a larger one, plus the other mounts seems for me a bit complicated for the simple task so I moded the PI3 case for make it fit w/o anything else than the print in the tech1, the idea was also to avoid the need of a larger ribbon cable.
The case uses the same fan that comes with the kits with case (30mm).
You will need screws and a bit of glue for the camera base and the camera case, the camera base was attached to the acrylic of the printer with a double face tape.
How it works can be seen in the video.
The Qidi was busy so this was printed on my CR-10 only the ABS part was printed in the Qidi (blue) anyway ABS is not mandatory.
All parts was print in 2 walls 10% infill .20 resolution.
Glue double face tape and screws are necessary for this thing.
