I do have a question, how did you manage to print the lips, eye lashes and eye brows?

What type of bed adhesion are you using? Are your prints of the small parts coming off the bed or are they printing but not fitting the model properly? PLA or ABS?

i used the same parameters for the small parts as I do for the larger parts. .2mm/10% infill/2 shells. A raft works well for small parts also.

I love your models, I am making them all, I can not seem to be able to post my makes though..

Send me a PM and let's see if we can figure it out together.

Are you clicking on the 'post a make' from the original object?

Teamwork,
Steve

absolutely AWESOME craftsmanship, WOW

Thank you for the kind words. If you do make any of my models, be sure to post your makes. Teh more makes I see the more I model.

Teamwork,
Steve

My friend, you did a remarkable job. I’ve been busy and just saw this. My wife and I can wait to print it!

Thank you!

Your other prints have come out beautiful, so I'm looking forward to seeing this one. Be sure to post the collection, if you have the time.

Teamwork,
Steve

Well Done yet again.

Thank you Paul. I've been swamped lately and am behind reading comments, but I always look forward to hearing from you.

Teamwork,
Steve

Another very fine model you've shared. Thank you kind sir!

I appreciate the very kind comment.

If you do make any of my models, I'd love to see them posted. Seeing makes posted gives me the incentive to make more models.

Teamwork,
Steve

You are really creating some incredible models. Still hoping for a printable Rosie from the Jetsons. I know I have asked before, not trying to hurry you. I realize these models that you create are very time consuming, and appreciated. Thanks, again.

I always appreciate suggestions and Rosie is on the list. I really need to go back and add to other collections I've started, like the Jetsons

Teamwork,
Steve

WOW! Once again, great work! Thanks Steve! I can only dream to one day do something 1/4 as good as you! Keep them coming!

Thank you for the wonderful comment.

You should be aware that modeling the way I do is not so much an artistic talent but mostly patience. The software today does most of the work (I really mean that). There is no sculpting involved.

I've helped a number of people get started, so if you are interested, send me a PM and I can put you on the right track for modeling for 3D printing.

Teamwork,
Steve

I would love to take you up on that…. This is something that really interests me. And to learn some of your secrets would absolutely be an honour. :) I’ll PM you.

Nice Steve.. Will get this one underway.. Noddy Was well received by mother in law.. All the Best to you both for 2019

Happy and Healthy New Year to you and the family. I'm happy to hear Noddy went over well.

If you have any issues with Alice, be sure to PM me. I'm always nervous about my uploads until I see the first make.

Steve great figure!!!!
i love you work!!!
Thankx

... and i really appreciate the fact that you post your makes.

Steve

WOW! I see you got one done before the end of the year. Got to finish my 50% Maga Man (from Chaos Core Tech) tomorrow and start this one! Need to order some more Light Blue as the Mad Hatter, Caterpillar and White Rabbit's pants pretty much finish off that blue. Using a Satin Sky Blue for Mega Man and it's not going to work for Alice. Good thing my wife has Amazon Prime!

Sounds like you have a really good handle on your filament choices. mega man in that color sounds awesome.

Looking forward to seeing your makes, as usual.

Teamwork,
Steve

Thanks. Got the 50% one done and also finished Alice. Working on the full size Mega Man now.

No matter what you design and release, you never cease to amaze.
Great work as always Steve

Thanks for the kind words. My work is mostly based on patience more than anything else. Very satisfying to produce something I can hold in my hands.

Teamwork,
Steve

I always love your designs!
Not going to print this one as i'm not really into alice, but you keep creating some of the highest quality models here on thingiverse!
(Dilbert is still my favorite model of yours ;-) )

Thanks for the comment and feedback. Subject matter is quite important since there is a lot of time and effort into making these models. So, just keep watching and maybe one day I'll touch on a subject closer to your heart.

Teamwork,
Steve

wow Steve this look great again !!!

I knew that you'd chime in with a comment. Good to hear from you again.

Thank you for the kind words.

Amazing work! When I first looked at the pics, I thought they were 3D renders and not the real thing.

Funny thing is that I enjoy modeling but dread taking the pictures to post. For whatever reason, I just cannot get the lighting right in my house for the pictures. Maybe I just need a more modern camera.

Thank you for the kind words.

Teamwork between modelers and makers,
Steve

Fantastic!
I'm gonna print this as soon as possible!

Knowing you, it's probably already printing, even on New Years Eve!

If you have any issues with Alice, be sure to PM me. I'm always nervous about my uploads until I see the first make.

Nice, but fuse them all together for noobs

This is by far the best way for a noob or anyone else to print anything that would require supports. I've printed alot of reddadsteve's stuff and had very few issues if any. once you print something that needs alot of supports you will understand.

Ah, there's the rub. The model is prepared specifically for printing in pieces so that each piece can be printed in a different filament color, or individually painted.

As far as being a newbie, I spend quality time with each part for ease of printability. So newbies should have no issue with that aspect.

I do go back and create single piece models of what I post from time to time, and upload those on the XYZ boards for specific reasons.

Teamwork,
Steve

I don't disagree but perhaps the alternative is helpful for the less patient and for those that just want to see the 'rendered' model here.
Happy New Year.

Please realize that I did not dismiss your comment and suggestion. You are right that there is an audience for one piece models and at some point I will be converting all of my models to one piece. I also have to consider if I want to create the same models for multi filament printers..... So many options, so little time.

I appreciate your input and do not hesitate to provide further feedback in the future.

Happy and healthy New Year!

Your work gets better with each model. I may print this even though I'm not an Alice fan, just because it looks so good.

Just be careful, if you do decide to print this model, you'll want to print the rest of the set!

Yeah, subject matters. Always better to print something on a subject more dear to your heart. You'll enjoy it better and put more effort into the build. But then, maybe Alice will grow on you.

Steve
