MakerBot Print is our newest print-prepration software, which supports native CAD files and STL assemblies,
allows you to interact with all your printers via the Cloud, and many other exciting new features.
This is a collaboration of different parts and designs, put together to fit my needs.
When printed standing up the Lithophane height 81mm width 76mm (use a Brim). You can create your own lithophane in http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ and size to fit.
This may require adjustments, depends on your printer and filament. I printed in PLA at a .2 layer height you can up it to get more detailed. This requires supports and a large print surface. Print the stand first and get the dimensions for the back and lithophane and adjust as necessary, as some filaments will contract or expand. Some light sanding was used to get the litho and back panel to fit like a glove, or you can use adhesive double sided 3M tape (what I used for the USB cords) or magnets.
Remember to come back and post what you've printed as Make.
It's good for the designer and the community (that means you)!
