UPDATE: I had a littel free time today so I re-designed the files. The V2 files are almost exactly with the RC4WD type of winch. Enjoy
I decided to make my own version of a direct drive winch. I had a few N20 motors lying around so decided to remix my own. The motor I used was 6v 30rpm hence why it is so slow. Motor was purchased here https://www.banggood.com/GA12-N20-Mini-DC-6V-30RPM-Gear-Motor-p-971121.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN
They have many RPM options.
Kr3os had the best look in my opinion but it used gears to operate which were unreliable. I used his design as a foundation and added a 10x4x3mm bearing to support the stress on the spool. Next I shortened the frame and redesigned the motor mount for direct drive use.
The spool came from djshua and I added my own flair. I used a 3x3mm set screw to lock it down to the output shaft. The bearing side of the spool is supported buy a 3x12mm SCHS.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT TIGHTEN DOWN SPOOL BEARING SCREW. SCREW IN TO ABOUT 1mm FROM END OF SPOOL CAP.
All other screws are 3mm SCHS.
The standoffs are 25mm and threaded for 3mm SCHS.
