Great design and I have a load of old GoPro mounts laying around which is handy.

I'm going to use the 4040 mount on my Pro - could you explain how the stabilisers work?

The stabilizer is like a modular foot. It slides onto the arm that connects horizontally to the 4040 mount, so the weight of everything can be better supported.

If you look at the second picture, the stabilizer would go on either long horizontal arm.

Hello Maker! I tried to print the slide and track twice and there is a problem to fit them. With this model it is not possible to mount this parts together.

I do not recomand to print this holder to users without milling Dremmel. If you want make this funcional, you need to edit this model by milling.

I think I know what the problem is.

The way the slide prints upright, with the opening on the build platform is generally fine, but perhaps your initial layer is squishing a bit too much? The track is similar, in that the outer edge of it will be squished out more along the first layers.

The tolerance is .3mm, I could also increase that a bit.

I can easily alter the opening so that if this is the issue, it shouldn't affect others trying to print this in the future.

Thank you

I used this settings for first layer - 0,2 and for other 0,2 too.

If I measured this parts after the print. The hole in slide was almost 0,3 mm less, than the slide. I used abrasive paper to grind 0,3 mm from track, but there was also problem on the "V" shape.

Well the Track certainly wasn't designed to be larger than the opening of the Slide. Have you tried printing a calibration cube, perhaps you could tune your x/y steps.

I've included a file with a very loose fitting Slide that has a 1.3mm tolerance. It should work fine.

I've also updated the main Slide file to be .5mm tolerance from .3mm

I alterd the 4040 Horizontal mount to fit behind the control panel on the Ender 3 and exit out the side.

Awesome! I hadn't thought of that.

I'll add it to the file list if you don't mind.
