MakerBot Print is our newest print-prepration software, which supports native CAD files and STL assemblies,
allows you to interact with all your printers via the Cloud, and many other exciting new features.
Forgive me is this a stupid question, or if the answer is obvious. But how do you print this so that model as it appears in your picture? For example how the image of Walter White looks so real! Or is it just that you paint the image details once it has printed?
it's basically a reverse lithofania,
that is, the positive
we give the relief with white filament and some black filament layer for contrast
I leave a link to give you an idea
regards
I can see that you start with black filament and then switch to the white filament after a few layers. But in this breaking bad model there are 4 colours, but some of them appear to start at the same layer height. For example, the white filament that makes walter whites face, the yellow filament that creates the clock numbers and the green filament that makes the "breaking bad" all seem to start at the same layer height. How is that possible?
Ahhh i see now. Overall very clever. I also looked through your other designs, they are so good. Also very generous of you to share them for free via thingiverse. Thank you for your generosity
Thank you
directly with the software you use
you put pause and you go up 30 mm then you do the change of filament from black to white and you give to print again
Great stuff dude! I like very much your art. I have printed the Neymar picture -> https://www.thingiverse.com/make:578434 takes A LOT of time but the result is stonning.
I like the Walter White pretty much. Let me know why there are 2 STLs, looks they´re the same. Could you please upload the WW picture without the clock numbers? Great picture to print. Thanks a lot !
Hello,
sorry for taking a long time to answer your comment ...
there are 2 identical files but one is repaired in case there is an error
Regarding the drawing of ww do you want the image or stl?
tell me the mail to send it to me or write to 3dlito@gmail.com

the numbers and letters are printed on white filament and painted with textile marker

Looks really nice. Is there a tool to generate these kinds of pictures changing from black to white filament?
