Yep it's just a friction fit, it stays in its place well enough like that. And it does come off if you apply a little force.

Do you use this as an interference fit? Does it come off at all?

It may fit without sanding or anything. The first one that I did I had printed with the hole to fit the shifter up and it did not have too much of a problem, but it did need a little sanding. With other shifters I have done they fit without any sanding at all. If you print it with the hole down you may have some problems with fitting and will most definatally need to sand or even dremel the hole out to make it fit.

Does this fit without having to sand or shim? Thanks.
