any pics of this installed?

I didn't have to flip it after all, my mistake. I got it working well, had to add in a Flag for the stock Optical sensor. Thanks so much for this great design.

can you send me the one with the optical sensor flag?

That is the link to the original flag addition I did to his design. I printed with some makergeeks filament that i assume was an ABS/PLA mix. I don't remember if i used supports or not. i think i might have just printed it Flag up. Good luck.

sorry just seen this. link expired.

Just printed this and must say it looks amazing, BUT you HAVE to flip the files around to make the flag in the correct position or else this is useless to print as-is at least for a Davinci 1.0 like I have. Here is a link to Tinkercad where I did this already. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gl77J5ZKRbW-davinci-10-titan-aero-carriage-by-rcmn-flipped

Just printed the flipped version and realize that now even the blower fan has to be reversed to fit it properly. I have already remixed it in Tinkercad, but will have to add a remix to Thingiverse. What I've done is simply added the necessary modifications while still retaining the original fan placement. Am printing it now and will see how well it fits. I have not tested the aero yet or using this on my 1.0 but I will ASAP and add the remix if all is well. Thanks again for your brilliant, simplistic approach.

I dont understand what you mean ? i dont have any trouble with the fan mount ?

Thank you.
Yes some printers need to have the part flipped.
Soon there will come a updated version, with better cooling, endstop parts etc. Also trying to fit an inductive probe but i dont think it would be in next version.

Currently iam running with this actual design, printing really smooth. at around 100 mm/s

I would certainly be interested as I am trying to replace the back of my clone titan extruder with a clone aero but need to use a design. This is very simple and efficient. Very well designed in my opinion.

The back plastic cover for my clone titan is cracked and not working properly. Im currently running an official e3d v6 1.75mm Non bowden heatsink and throat with a clone "copper" nozzle which is actually brass and a china special titanium 0.4mm nozzle with a very nice replica e3d silicone sock. the brass heater block and silicone sock work great. It is currently clogged by bad MakerGeeks filament.

Okay I am a bit confused with the new release. What Davinci are you running? Is there a forum your build is located at? I am really interested to see the inside of your printer and your setup. Thanks. Sorry for any confusion. I am running a original Davinci 1.0 not a pro.
