This is a remix of the Staircase Puzzle Fidget Puck (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2638514), since I found it too easy to disassemble.
The Staircase Puzzle Fidget Puck disassembles like the Hanayama Cast Spiral Puzzle, but its design is loose and allows an easier solution.
I wanted the puzzle to allow only a "Hanayama-style" disassembly, so I redesigned the interlocking mechanism to be tight all the way.
This puzzle cannot be printed assembled because the clearances are too small.
For a good result It should be printed with a layer height of 0.2 mm or less.
I printed each piece with a slightly different layer height, it reduces friction because the layer-line ridges of any 2 adjacent pieces cannot engage.
If you have any blobs on the mating surfaces they must be filed down.
File around the bottom of the pieces if your first layer is too squished.
Test the engagement of the pieces, they must slide freely.
Optionally spray silicone oil on the mating surfaces, it will also remove the discoloration caused by the filing.
Now try to assemble the puzzle.
