im struggling to figure out what part goes where :P where are the "innerpart 1-4 " suppose to go ? :) a couple of pics of the actual arm would be nice :)

I lied you do need to print all the pieces you just might have to scale them a bit to fit. those bisep parts are the main piece for the outer parts to attach

Comments deleted.

Hi the inner parts 1-4 are for the biceps and you can print the min 4 different parts or one single piece. I prefer single because the separate parts come with pre loaded supports that are impossible to get off. the inner layer is the inner layers 1-4 just a single print with no supports but do add them. I don't have a software that can explode the parts but I'm working on the instruction for the whole arm. if you plan on wearing the model than I suggest not priming the inner layers only if you have a really skinny arm and I didn't because my arms are bigger

I never put a hand in the file but I can put links to hands

Love the design and the ability to easily print it but is there a front piece for the hand?

I know this sounds like a dumb question. But is this meant to go on your arm? Or is it just a prop for display?

Either one you want I had to scale it up a bit to fit me but by itself it’s good for decore

Would you mind posting the dimensions of your own personal forearm? i.e length from elbow to wrist. diameter of wrist and forearm. And also how much you scaled the forearm part. I'm trying to gauge how much scaling you did and how much I'll need to do for me.

My forearm is 12in. My diameter of my arm is 3.25 The wrist is 2.5 I had to scale it up about 40% just to fit my bisep

The elbow and the video should but if not then no

I can't find the hand parts, Are there only fingers and then forearm parts? :/

this is just the forearm and the hand plate. I did not make these but here is a link to the hands https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1623321

Iron Man MK6 MK 6 Glove Hand with repulsor
by DaDave

Since you took your time to track down pictures from my old portfolio: https://www.coroflot.com/albert_gustafsson/Iron-Man-Mark-42-armor-personal-project
it would be quite nice to at least add a source to it as well as the original thread over at The RPF: https://www.therpf.com/forums/threads/my-mk-42-build-new-stl-files-for-upper-arm-section.166141/

One more thing we’re you the one who built if so what color gold did you use

Abb_eliten IS the designer who designed the parts from scratch, which requires HOURS UPON HOURS of hard work. Builds should NEVER be re-posted without the designer's consent and ALWAYS with their permission and ALWAYS giving them credit for their work. He is also being very nice about finding his work re-posted as if it was your work, you should mention that it is not yours along with the source link to give him the proper respect and appreciation for a really amazing design that he was kind enough to provide the build community for free.

hi I'm sorry I was never able to find out who made the files so I thought they were just on the internet and free for everyone

Hi. I never tried to track you down for your pictures I just went on google images and found a pic if you want me to I can add a link to the pics in the description

Yes, I think adding a source, or at least trying to find it for things that are not original content is a good way of sharing stuff.

If the picture is just a coincidence I understand.
I just got suspicious when both the 3D files and picture were made by me.

Regarding the gold color, the name of it is Volvo Lunar Gold. As long as the color name is the same the brand of paint shouldn't matter.

I want to ask the real designer how I can set the pieces together,
I cant find out how it should set together :D can give any hints how to use youre 3d files correct ?

there are 2 versions of this print. one of them is for big printers and the parts are one piece but there are multiple parts of one piece.

I will post pictures on how they go together.

maybe you can write what files I need for complete arm, I will cut them by myself in meshmixer for my printbed size

thanks a lot I have downloaded all parts but I have realy no clue what part I realy need

the file says still a work in progress and like I said this is a t version print you can build each parts in one piece or print it all one piece
