Hi! It is a great concept! Can I ask you to upload the big nut which keeps the axle on the ender 3? You have picture in the album but there is no printable STL file. Thank you!

I just added two new axes for the new model of Ender 3, you cand find in the parts as:
1 (new ender).stl and 1 (new ender)_Long.stl

PS: I can't try them because I don't have that Ender 3 model, but if you try them please share how it went, Fede

that's the original nut that came with the ender 3, in fact there are 2 nuts (one on each side of the metal)

Thank you for the quick reply! In this case I have a newer version of that part of the Ender 3 because it is different now. I've attache a picture to show how it looks now.
If it is not a big work could you modify the smaller nut to works on the bigger screw and upload it? I would really appreciate your help, thank you!

Am I missing something or is there no file for the larger nut? The nut that came with my ender 3 is not threaded, it's a quick release. Did they change the style of the nut that comes with it?

enabling supports like the print settings said completely destroyed the threads, I'll have to reprint those with supports turned off.

The support goes as follows:
1, 2 y 3B without suport.
4, 5 y 3A you need to print it with suport but ONLY "touching build plate"not "everywere"

Is the outside of the bearing suppose to rotate too? The inside of the bearing rotates freely but the outside does not.

EDIT: nevermind it freed up but the balls inside still do not rotate

both sides must rotate freely, you must retain the center and try to force the outside to turn and release any part that is stuck, this is i gif a made showing how it looks:

the inside will run more easily, but both must be free.

I'll print this today. I picked up dozens of 1/3rd kg rolls that are just a little too small for a normal filament roll. Hope this works!

I want to mention I could not find this by searching for filament mount on thingiverse. I had to search google for filament mount. Hope thingiverse fixes their search someday.

Does it Need Support everywhere or just from the heatingplate?
Do you Maybe also have a file for the 2nd nut?

And what bearing do you recommend? A or B?

If you mean the nut for the long version of te axle it the same for both.

For me A works beter, but if you have trouble releasing the support matereal you can try B

Parametric Caged Ball Bearing

Thank you for such an awesome design. Just what I was looking for I Hope. Will a wide roll that is 93mm fit on this.

I added 2 new parts "1 Long" and "5 Long" I think it will work for wider spool filament rolls up to 100mm wide :)

Awesome thanks a lot. The other one was about 1" too short throw it in the storage pile lol. Was fun learning experience though.
