I've now added a prism library, with lots of options, but your basic triangular shape can be made like this.

Your shape is more complex, so might need some splines.

Hi, I belatedly saw your comments on the OpenSCAD mailing list and your picture reminded me that I did a similar shape for a teapot lid (um, yes!).

A bit of fun with how the list comprehensions are done to have a curved bottom and then straight section should be pretty easy. Feel free to have a chat on my plectum thing, but I think you solved this another way in the end.
