NOTE: I see people confused about how the bmg intake should look. There's a picture from the very beginning to show it but I don't know if it's not clear enough. I have uploaded another one with zoom hopping no one can get it wrong.
UPDATE: Uploaded a new version of extruder body and cover. More tolerance on e3d heatsink area and bmg area on the extruder cover. More room for the down right screw that secures the extruder cover and now it should be less prone to break. Pinda holder in 2 parts for easy installation. Finally all hex nut holes of the extruder body are smaller.
Ok, here we go again.
Santi, stigma and inver tought about decreasing the distance from the filament sensor to the bmg, so I decreased it as much as I could, meaning the bmg now needs to be installed with just small ptfe tube flush with the part. There is a picture of how it should be. The filament sensor sits in a 0.4mm wall so make sure to activate detect thin walls or set your perimeters at 0.4mm. This wall is most likely not necessary so if you want to give it a go without those settings you'll probably be fine.
Removed some material for weight and aesthetics.
Also, in the older body the bmg door opens barely, so made a little room to make just small adjustments inside if needed.
Seeing people were asking bondtech to include the indirect filament sensor I made a version of my desing with the bearing mod by Martin_au for those who might want it. Now, even with perimeters at 0.4 there will be holes in the bearing area. In cad there is a 0.25mm clearence so in theory it should work just fine but we'll have to wait for the bold ones to try it out.
I included versions for zaribo and bear carrieges but never used those desings so they haven't been tested and can't assure will be correct, but I hope they are.
The extruder cover is the same for all versions. The x carriege back is the same for the two variations of the specific version (short,zaribo,bear). For the rest, if you are going with the bearing version you'll need the x carriege bearing one as well.
I think that's all. The distance from filament sensor to the bondtech gears cannot be smaller with a full bmg so I hope it helps with the mmu which is the reason for this new body.
