Hi, how do you do the smile? cause with the program, im only make the circle of the cookie, not the face (im trying to do another cutter cookie). Thanks!

Lines 10 and 11 control whether the script makes the cutter (the circle) or the stamp (the smile).

Comment out the cutter and uncomment the smile. To generate the smile those lines should look like this:

One year later printing cookie cutters again.

I think I got it now :D The layer names are in the script as well, thats why it only worked in the original file.

I cant get my dxf image to work. I have converted into path, all nodes are connected and all lines are straight, whats the secret here?

The next likely thing would be the layers in your dxf. OpenSCAD is case sensitive so you need to be sure that the layers are named properly, first letter Capitalized.

If that's not it I have had trouble with dxf's exported from earlier versions of Inkscape. Make sure you are running the latest.

If it still doesn't work let me know.
Good luck

First letter capital check, but doesnt work. There is some hidden attribute in that layer. As long as I but my new model into the smily.dxf original layer it works but not with files I create myself.

Weird. I know that only some dxf files seem to work with OpenSCAD. I have had no luck with Adobe Illustrator but Inkscape works for me. I am using Inkscape 0.48.4 on Windows 7. A simple dxf with only a CC layer and a Stamp layer works fine.

i tried it several times but the stamp never worked.
the CC worked perfect.

in your SCAD file there is no reference for layer "Stamp" but for
layer "Supports", "Holes" and "Lines"!

have i missed something?

Hi Nischi

If you open up the scad file on line 10 and 11 there are calls to the modules that create the cutter and stamp. When you download it the cutter is active and the stamp is commented out. If comment out line 10 and uncomment line 11 the script will generate the stamp.

10:  cookiecutter();
11:  //stamp();

The "Stamp" layer is loaded on line 39.

If you don't see these lines of code you may have an old cutter script, try downloading this one again.

I hope this helps
