The fan nozzle and carrier files are missing.

Ah sorry, those are no longer part of the package forgot to remove the text. The better/best cooling solution is the James Tongue/hangtight fan duct at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3367622

I have adapters to make it fit this model at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3646685

Railcore V6 Part cooling Duct
Railcore II Cooling Fan Modifications and Add-ons

Will any of these work with the Mosquito hotend? The shroud that came with my kit is too low to work with the mosquito.

Yes - I've run a mosquito with this setup. my adapters are a closer fit than the adapters that come with the tongue fan duct, and there are some spacers to fine tune.

Thanks. Just printed the Railcore V6 Part cooling Duct on my Elegoo Mars (my first print - didn't even bother with the sample one). Now just need to wait for the printer to finish its current job and fit it on.

Hi,

I am working on design of my future core XY printer and want to use this Orion mount on it. But it's seem there is a 'problem' in design.
Under Fusion 360, there is an interference between mount and PCB in assembly.

Cordially.

Yes you are right though it is intentional. This is to represent, more or less, the fact that there is adjustability in mounting the Orion. You fine tune the sensitivity by tightening the mounting bolts through the pcb which flexes the part (and moves in z). The priority was in designing accurate individual components, and the combined assembly is a 95% accurate portrayal of the full part. The important thing is that the corner posts create an offset from the bottom piece, and the hole in the upper piece give room for the pcb to flex.

I am finishing a clean-up of the Fusion project (it got complicated over time, especially with the other version of this mount) which will be complete very shortly. If you'd like I can drop you a note here so you get a notification when it's posted.

Nice work. Is it possible to use a "non-threaded" E3D V6 with this thing and in case, which parts need to be printed?
Thanks in advance.

Groove mount version now included in the package. There's an internal support piece that just breaks free after printing, so no additional supports required.

Yes indeed. I'm working on that right now as it turns out, cleaning up this project and making sure everything is up to date and complete. Shouldn't be long.
