This is a bookstand for holding books and notes while studying.
It's made with a few printed pieces and some hardware materials, but it's still sturdy enough to hold a heavy book!
The design is based on the Adjustable Tablet Stand by Countspatula :p
Download the file "Transformer Bookstand Instructions.pdf" where all the instructions (with mecano-like images) of how to build it.
You will need the following hardware materials:
- (8 - 16) M4 nuts
- 12 M4 washers
- 3 M4 rods of 100mm, 90mm or 80mm (they should all measure the same, but you can get either three dimensions for it to work). Mine is made with 100mm rods.
- 10 M3 nuts
- 10 M3x10mm bolts
You will need the following STL files:
If you want to use the plates:
If you do not want to use the plates:
• Wing_arm.stl x 4
• Wing_border.stl x 2
• Horn.stl x 2
If you use the 100mm or 90mm M4 rod you will need spacers for it to work properly. This can be done with normal M4 nuts (which makes it complicated to build), or with the pieces "Spacer for 100mm rod.stl" and "Spacer for 90mm rod.stl". If you use 80mm rods you will not need these spacers.
