I printed it on a MakerBot Replicator with great results. I made with a 7” diameter, painted it and added glitter.

I printed like 5 of them. they all have defective top layer for the village "floor".
Filament just curls at the base of the buildings when there's no infill wall to "support" them.
So apart from printing them at high infill I see no solution... and since the base is very thick, that's a lot of filament.
Or I should just remove the base and print from village floor ?

Roofs have given me a lot of trouble too, lots of holes in the top layers

This looks like It would fit perfectly on top of this LED base I have.

I would like more winter and snow and snowdrifts, and Christmas decorations. And sledges and birds and squirrels and can trucks with Coca Cola. Not in the mood to model. It's like everyone in this village is asleep.

printed this with supports and didn't notice this until after but the model has a hole in it which wasn't present in the original. The tallest building has a gap going up the side. I checked the original and when it sliced the issue wasn't there.

Cura was slicer,

figured out issue. When I scaled it down below 70% the line started to appear so it was a scaling issue.

my girl just bought a "bottle light" in the eurostore that seems to be a perfect fit for this (it's a circular sticker with several LEDs to stick it underneath any bottle to light it up)...will print it tonight

EDIT: the thing was way bigger than I expected. Had to scale it down wich didn't work out well at the first try. Currently printing a second.

I printed it on my Wanhao Di3 with 0.2 mm, 20% infill, no supports. No problems. See Makes

I don't remember, but I think that is not important. Probably 2 perimeters, 0.4 noozle and 0.2 layer size.

I'm interested in the infill settings...

Guys I'm new to 3D printing so obvious things for you are not that obvious to me.
What filament do you use for this?

Trying to find lights that will work with this, are you able to tell me what lights you used?

You can see it in the second picture. Ii's just a led rope from Amazon

Thanks, I found a light up string of Christmas trees at Joann's Fabrics, took the lights off of the trees, and they worked perfectly. =)
