IMPORTANT UPDATE for CURA USERS:
For those using CURA: Cura 4.0 and other versions after 3.5.1 have been slicing the file causing extrusion problems during the higher layers due to the travels involved. Use Cura version 3.5.1. and slice -2 mm on the Z axis for a smooth base. When sliced with Cura 3.5.1 the model should have circle layer pattern at the base. When sliced in Cura 4.0 and other versions, the layers are diagonal and will cause problems later in the print!
This is an ancient stone ruins terrain piece I made to practice sculpting digitally. It is inspired by Weathertop, and was made entirely from scratch in my new software. It may have some flaws, but has been printed without support material. For 28mm scale, I recommend printing the piece at 11" diameter to fit bases. For scale, between 8" and 10" will also work! Thanks for taking a look!
