hello, this is a Google translated response, the c shaped piece clips onto each link to (1) keep the wires in the chain & (2) keep the links pushed out so they don't detach from each other.

will your bracket work with the links made by johnniewhiskey's links? I already have his links printed but I most definitely prefer how you have your bottom brackets designed. I want to use them together.

I don't know, probably not - what's his thing number?

It’s the one that your make says it’s remixed from.

No, that cable chain's links are wider than mine and use a tapered post instead of the straight posts I'm using. Of course, you're welcome to remix your own bottom brackets.

I suppose I’ll give it a try! Thank you for your reply, Cheers!!

Good design , but the links printed a little flimsy in PLA and do not stay connected at the joint when pivoting.

Hmm, are the u shaped clips in yet? They stiffen up the links and prevent disconnection when pivoting.

Yes. I had the clips in, but the problem I have is the links compress inward from the connection with the next link. The clips don't stay on as a result.

Hmmm, I included little 'teeth' in the u shaped clips to prevent the links from compressing inwards like that. Are the 'teeth' not working? Image attached for clarity.

printed X axis belt links and gantry support so far, basic cura settings but 1.5mm layer, 10%infill. Seems pretty solid.

Currently printing bed links

Awesome, looking forward to hearing more !
