This is a reflector for my daily used workhorse (one of my old Race Bikes). Taboo breaking, normally nobody put a reflector on race spokes, but this one is very thin and it's all for my safety in long winter nights.
The wheels are Shimano RS501 with bladed spokes.
The profile of the spokes is elliptically and they are about 1.75 mm x 2.75mm.
Front: 20 spokes, radial
Rear: 24 spokes, double crossed
The angle between the spokes (for example 1 to 3) is 360°/20*2= 36°.
Lukily the angle between to rear spokes are nearly the same!
So I only had to create one Reflector. On the 4 printed reflectors I put some self-adhesive Reflector film pieces which i found in my fundus.
The Device snaps in very closely, seated very strong and it is easy to disassemble.
They are only 3.5 mm wide!
Reflection area more then the required 20cm².
I printed it with the long thin side down and used Brim in Cura, so that it can't topple down. No support needed. Printed in PLA (ok for the winter). PETG/ABS would be better for summer.
Used 4 mm Brim in Cura settings to stabilize and fix the smal side to the bed.
