Please check out the much improved version here:

It uses removable tubes for easier operation.

(You can wrap the tubes into coin wrappers, then pull the tubes out, conveniently leaving you with a neat coin roll.)

Improved Auto Coin Sorter V7.5 - Coin Roll + Classic Version

Mesh does not print at all. As if it is not in a model. I'm using Cura. What settinsg exactly need to be tweaked? Thank you!

Please try the new STLs I uploaded for version 4.1.

They have a greater thickness of the mesh and should slice and print with Cura just fine.

The customizer has also been updated. (You can actually customize mesh thickness now.)

Hm, let's see ... which file exactly did you load into Cura: one of the "thing files", or one generated via Customizer?

Got the same problem here in Slic3r, I loaed the basebox only

Thanks for the feedback! Were you using a downloaded basebox file, or one generated by the customizer?

I used the one I downloaded from here.
On the 3D view of Slic3R, no problem.
But when I slice it, mesh disappears :/

I presume you used the Euro version, so you probably downloaded this file? https://www.thingiverse.com/download:5577105

Which Slic3r version are you using? I'm on 1.3.0, and it sliced the basebox mesh with no problems (see attachment).

To check whether it's a slicing problem or a graphics problem, you could try to switch to the "Layers" view and check the bottom layer (see 2nd attachment). Just to make sure the preview is really correct ...

I use exactly this file, with Slic3r 1.41.3+

And it's weird because as you can see on the attachment, bottom layer seems to get something from the mesh.
But, my best "proof" is that I noticed about that issue while printing, so I let the print to finish...

Perhaps mesh walls are too thin ?

Weird indeed! Do you use the "xy correction" setting? That's one setting that might affect thin structures. (There could be others I'm not aware of.)

I guess I'll upload another version with thicker mesh,as even if we find the correct Slic3r setting, another user had the same issue with Cura, which I don't know so well.

I managed to get something with activating the "detect thin walls" feature.
So yes it must simply be something with wall thickness.
And I guess that thicker wall may make the whole structure more stable ?
(I tried to mount everything with the "no mesh" version and it's not working well)

Thanks for your support, I'll wait until you upload a version with thicker wall ;)

I've just uploaded a new thick-walled mesh version here: https://www.thingiverse.com/download:6099241

Please try it out - if it works on your slicer, I'll update the rest of the files.

A stronger mesh will certainly help stability, too :-)

Works like a charm in my slicer !! Will try it this weekend at print :)
Thanks !!

Swedish kroner version?

Now freshly available through the customizer!

If you'd post a make, I'd be thrilled :-)

Compact Improved Auto Coin Sorter

Dann brauchst Du eine etwas kleinere Version:

Open for smart suggestions ... :-)
