Halloween is over, now the Jack-o's slowly wither.
Here's a fun little Jack-O, PunkinFace that I designed. I would love to see how you guys paint this up!
This could probably be printed without supports. You can see I used a support blocker for most of the model when I printed it.
Also this should scale up or down pretty well.
I did very little sanding then covered the print with two coats of generic primer spray paint (rattle can). Then brush painted with standard art supply acrylic paints. I then applied a few coats (letting them dry between) of clear liquitex on just the eyes.
This would look good with a full satin clear coat as well.
This was all designed using free software
- Sculptris to sculpt the model
- Blender to export as a clean .stl file
- MeshMixer to rotate and create flat base (also could have been done in Blender)
- Prepared and printed using CURA
