I'm currently working on this project, and I was wondering if you could upload the original SolidWorks/inventor/fusion/whatever file so I can tweak it myself? I'm wanting to fuse the bottom four pieces into two, so there isn't a fault line right next to the bridge screws. I don't have access to a large printer (so I can't print the entire thing in one go), and every time I screw in the bridge screws, the epoxy cracks, even after reapplying and retrying.

Hi, I would really love to see a version for humbucker pickups. If you have the time I would really appreciate this.
regards Peta.

OMG! I love this, but one maybe rude question: where or how did you get this so 1:1 with a real strat? I've always wanted to make my own guitar body and have even been messing in Fusion 360 for ages but i still seem to miss that 'real strat look' with the bends and thicker/thinner parts etc. I have some awesome ideas but just miss the basis to get started :(

I might try this one out btw after Comic Con

Is this available as a single STL file? I think my printer might be able to print it in one piece.

I updated with the uncut model.

Great design! are you also thinking about a 3d printable neck for the guitar?

I didn't do any neck in 3D printing, because a wooden handle brings a better mechanical resistance to your guitar, and it brings a more real side to the guitar than a plastic handle (which risks transforming your guitar in children's toy).

Thank you for this beautiful explanatory video, I have unfortunately not yet had the time to finish mine to put the finished photos.
I hope your guitar rock well !

I'd love to take credit but it's not mine. Just wanted to share since I case you hadn't seen or printed it yet.

Thank you for this model, amazing design. This is still a work in progress, right?
How do you assemble the different parts ?

This model is still in work in progress because I did not print it yet to put the photos of the final realization.
For gluing I use epoxy glue that holds well for issues of mechanical strength.

Is this sized properly to print?

Yes this model is at the scale 1: 1 of a real guitar
